Please join me this weekend, May 21 & 22 for two events celebrating Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh at Pars Place, the Iranian-American Community Center (IACC).
On Saturday May 21, it’s an art exhibit inspired by The Shahnameh. There will also be live Persian classical music, a Shahnemeh poetry reading, refreshments, wine and appetizers. 18 & up.
On Sunday May 22, I will be doing a live book reading of Shahnameh For Kids – The Story of Zal & Simorgh. This fun-filled family event will also include art activities for kids. All ages!

I will be appearing at The Amazing Comic Shop for Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 7th. I’ll be there signing copies of “Man Plus” and will also have “Shahnameh For Kids” on hand as well as other cool stuff. Come say hello and pick up some FREE comics!
On Tues March 22 (6pm), I will be doing a lecture/book signing at George Washington University on Ferdowsi’s epic Persian Poem, The Shahnameh and its use in popular culture and media.

I will be doing a Shahnameh For Kids book signing at the 4th Annual Nowruz Celebration For Children on Saturday March 12, 3pm-5pm at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School (7130 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church VA 22403).
